Who we are

This site is operated by KC Pergolas. If you contact us through the site, fill out a form, or book a meeting, this policy explains what we do with your information.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

When you fill out a form, book a meeting through our Calendly link, send us an email, or call us, you usually share:

• Your name
• Your phone number and email address
• Your home address or the address where the project would go
• Details about the project, including photos or measurements you choose to share

We only ask for what we need to give you a real quote and follow up.

Information collected automatically

When you load a page on this site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect:

• Your IP address and approximate location (city or region)
• Your browser type and device
• Which pages you visited and roughly how long you spent
• Where you came from (a search engine, a social link, or direct)

We use this in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and which need work. We do not try to identify you personally from this data.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule a design meeting
• To give you a written quote and follow up about your project
• To improve the site and the way we communicate
• To comply with legal obligations if they apply

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers for targeting.

Who we share it with

The only third parties who see information you share with us are the tools we use to run the business. That includes:

• Our hosting and CDN providers (Netlify and Cloudinary) to deliver the site and images
• Our scheduling tool (Calendly) when you book a meeting through that link
• Our project management and CRM tools so the team can prepare for your job
• Email and phone providers we use to reply to you

Each of these vendors has its own privacy practices. We pick ones we trust and we share only what's necessary.

Cookies and similar tracking

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage:

• Strictly necessary cookies for things like remembering whether you've dismissed a banner or opened the mobile menu
• Analytics cookies if we have analytics enabled, to count visits and understand site usage in aggregate

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Doing so may break a few small features but won't prevent you from contacting us.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we have about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete what we have, if there's no business or legal reason to keep it
• Stop using your information for anything other than completing your project

How we protect it

We keep your information on secure cloud services that use encryption in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people on our team who need it to do their job. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Children

This site is for homeowners and decision-makers planning outdoor projects. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and the "Effective" date at the top. Material changes will be summarized at the top of the page so you can tell what's new without rereading the whole thing.
