About the site

This site exists to help homeowners learn about our pergola, pavilion, and deck services and to start a conversation about a project. Pricing shown on the site (starting prices and typical ranges) is for general guidance only. The actual price of your project depends on materials, scope, site conditions, and the contract we sign together. A real number comes from the design meeting and the written quote that follows it.

Design meetings and consultations

When you book a design meeting through our scheduling link, we meet you on-site for about 30 minutes to talk through your project, take measurements, and follow up with a written design and price. The meeting is free. You're under no obligation to move forward, and we make no decisions for you. Anything we sketch, measure, or describe during the meeting is for planning purposes; the binding scope of work is the signed contract.

AI-generated and AI-enhanced imagery

All photos from actual job sites (the gallery sections on each service page, the suburb landing pages, and the cost page examples) are genuine photographs of work our team has installed.

3D viewers and visualizations

The interactive 3D models on the pergola and pavilion pages are detailed representations of real builds, but they are not exact renderings of your specific project. Materials, dimensions, joinery, and finishes for your build will be confirmed in the design meeting and on the signed contract.

No professional advice through the website

Articles, blog posts, suburb pages, and other content on the site share general information about outdoor construction in the Kansas City metro. They are not engineering, legal, or financial advice. Site-specific decisions (structural design, drainage, HOA approval strategy, permit applications) require an on-site visit and a signed contract.

Use of the AI design meeting scheduler

We use Calendly to host the design meeting scheduling link. By booking through that link, you agree to Calendly's own terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. Your scheduling information is also handled per our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site (text, photos, logos, 3D models, design layouts) is owned by KC Pergolas or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You're welcome to browse, share links, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish, repackage, or use our content commercially without written permission. Reach out if you'd like to license or quote something formally.

Content you share with us

If you send us photos, measurements, sketches, or other materials about your project, you give us permission to use them internally to design your build, prepare quotes, and reference the project after it's complete. We may use job-site photos of completed projects on our website and social media, with reasonable care to keep your privacy intact. If you'd prefer we don't share photos of your build publicly, just tell us.

Use of our content to train AI systems

We have not licensed our content (text, photos, original 3D models, suburb landing pages) for use as training data for third-party large language models or other generative AI systems. We allow major LLM crawlers to read the site so they can answer questions about our services in good faith, but our published content is not provided for use in training commercial AI models without explicit, written agreement.

Disclaimer of warranties

This site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the website's accuracy, completeness, reliability, or uptime. Information here may be outdated. Photos and pricing on the site are subject to change. The site is not guaranteed to be free of errors or interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, KC Pergolas is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Anything we owe you under a signed contract is governed by that contract, not by these site terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes about the site or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri.
